  • Teach your child responsibility.
  • If your kid has a shortcoming / disability, make it their strength.
  • Teach your kid the “I can do it myself” words.
  • Be selective of the friends your kid have.
  • Teach your child how to make good judgments.
  • Teach your kid about discipline and control.
  • Let kids express themselves through art, music and dance.

In the end, whether you have succeeded in your goal of raising smart kidsdepends on your own definition on what is a “smart kid”. Whether they arebook smart, exam smart or simply, they have a unique talent that will make you proud. Don’t let society’s values dictate your own appreciation of your kid’s talents. Grades are not everything. Neither is money or power.

We all know that EQ (Emotional Quotient) is better than IQ (Intelligent Quotient).

Remember that great pieces of art are not valued in their artists lifetimes, and preachers are not welcomed in their own countries. Be the first one to recognize the greatness in your own child. All kids are smart if you believe them to be so.
